1) Can I bring my child, or Am I old enough to attend a Concert at The Rapids?

The Rapids Theatre is an all ages venue (unless otherwise noted). Anyone under 16 years old must be with an adult 18 or older to attend a concert. Everyone must have a ticket, and anyone under 16 must remain with their 18 old older chaperone at all times.

2) Do you have a box office?

Yes! Our box office is open Wednesday through Saturday 12PM to 5PM and until 9PM on show nights. There is a service fee for tickets purchased at the box office (typically $2.00 per ticket) but no convenience fees. Tickets generally increase in price on the day of the show, so to save money guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.

3) Can I purchase tickets by phone?

Fans may purchase tickets by phone by calling (877) 435-9849 (Ticketfly).

4) What is your refund policy?

Refunds or exchanges are not permitted for any tickets purchased unless the headliner cancels. If a support act cancels, there are no refunds. Please do not purchase a ticket unless you are sure that you want to see the headliner no matter who the support act is.

5) Can my ticket be scanned from my phone?

Yes! As long as the screen isn’t cracked, your tickets can most likely be scanned from your phone. Just make sure to zoom in on the bar codes and turn the brightness all the way up on your device. However, be certain to have your Ticketfly order number as backup in case the bar code is not scannable.

6) Once inside, can I leave the theater and come back?

Sorry, for security reasons there is no re-entry allowed at the venue.

7) Are e-cigarettes or vapor pens allowed inside the theater?

No smoking, e-cigarettes, or vaping is allowed inside the theater. There is however a smoking section outside of the Theatre accessible without leaving the venue. Drinks are also allowed in the smoking section.

8) If I leave in the middle of a show for a smoke break, will I be allowed to re-enter?

There is a smoking section that is accessible without leaving the venue.

9) Is there anything to eat at The Rapids?

Yes! Our “Snack Shop” has pizza, popcorn, candy bars, chips, and other snacks for sale as well as some non-alcoholic beverages.

10) Am I allowed to film or photograph my favorite band at The Rapids Theatre?

Photo/video policy is determined by the artist and is usually not determined until day-of-show. Typically, non-professional cameras are permitted (no detachable lens). You can inquire about the photo policy on day-of-show by calling the box office. All press inquiries should be made through the bands publicist.

11) Are shows at The Rapids Theatre general admission or seated?

Depends on the event! The Rapids Theatre hosts mostly General Admission Standing Room only shows, but does on occasion host fully seated shows. There is always seating in our handicapped section located on the front left tier of the theatre for anyone who can not stand for the duration of the event. No need to call in advance to the handicap section, we do however ask that only guests who truly need it use it.

12) Is The Rapids Theatre ADA accessible? How can I purchase tickets for disabled patrons?

Yes. The Rapids Theatre is accessible to customers with disabilities. There is also a handicapped section located in the front of our left tier. There are no special tickets needed, anyone with a disability who needs to enter the handicapped section may do so by inquiring with any security guard on shift.

13) Is there a coat check?

Yes, coats and bags can be checked in the theater’s coat check which is located at the “Snack Shack” directly to the right after entry to the Theatre. There is a $2.00 charge for coat/bag check.

14) I’m from out of town. Is there a nearby hotel where I can stay?

Yes! We work with the Sheraton at the Falls and the Days Inn to offer you a discount on a room if you have a ticket to a concert or event at The Rapids.

15) Where do I pick up my will call tickets?

The Will Call Window is located directly out front of the entry doors at our box office. Will call tickets are available after 1pm the day of the show. If you need to pick up your tickets before the show, please just call ahead so we can have the tickets printed and ready for you for pick up.

16) Can I give my tickets to someone else?

Government-issued photo ID will be required to receive tickets at the Will Call Window, and only the ticket-purchaser can pick up Will Call Tickets. Any changes must be made by the ticket purchaser by calling Ticketfly at 877-435-9849.

17) Do you serve alcohol at The Rapids Theatre?

Yes! Anyone over 21 may purchase alcohol at The Rapids. We have a large main bar directly in the center of the main floor, as well as a full bar located in the balcony area. Beer, wine, and liquor are offered at both bars.

18) I forgot to bring cash! Does The Rapids Theatre have an ATM and/or accept credit and debit cards?

Yes. The Rapids Theatre has an ATM inside located directly to the right as you enter the main doors and the Box Office and Bar accept VISA, Master Card, and Discover Credit and Debit Cards.

19) Can I bring in outside food or drinks?

Unfortunately, outside food and beverages are not permitted. While we’re on the topic, we also don’t allow illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, spray paint, laser pointers, or weapons of any kind (management reserves the right to define). 20) Can I rent The Rapids Theatre for my Wedding or Special Event?

Yes! The Rapids is Western New York’s most unique and elegant Events Center! Every event comes with the use of our State of the Art Sound, Light, and Video systems and the Engineers to run them!
